Etihad Towers

DBI a relatively small practiceat the time, were invited to an international competition, competing against some the wolrd’s most prestigious firms, and came runner up, as judged by their international peers. However, more importantly the client preferred the DBI entry.

The commission was negotiated, directed and handled by Warren Coyle, from initial stages as the project director. Vaughn was involved soon after the commission requested Warren and Barry, to return from the international affiliated office to be involved in the conceptual design process.

Returning to the international affiliate office to further develop the design, coordinate with the international consultants & document towers 1,4&5 - also later to document Tower 2 and Tower 3.

Multiple international award winning major signature project .. but more importantly where Vin jumped a super car between towers in Fast and Furious 7.
