300 room 6 star resort for H.H. Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan -

The same client as per Etihad Towers project. A client procured & developed by Michael Ducar one the practice’s founding director’s.

Prior to the UAE property downturn as Senior Project architect Vaughn provided design and documentation support ‘on the ground’ to Michael Ducar.

During a 18 month concept to initial site works phase the role was to develop concept layout designs, liaise & coordinate with local consultants and local authorities.

Also to liaise and coordinate with the interior design company from US Hirsch Bednar and Associates integrating concept layouts and Back of house requirements to operator and local Halal authorities. DBI was later recommissioned for Interior works under Susan Rossi and Anna Goh until project completion.
